As a newly accepted or current Rockhurst University student, you will use this website to apply for campus housing, sign your contract (lease agreement), pay your $200 housing application/security deposit fee with a credit card (new students only), and submit your housing preferences. All of the information is here to make your housing application experience quick and easy.
All Incoming students may apply to live in one of our campus Residence Halls. All Returning students have the option to apply for housing in either a Residence Hall or to apply as a group for one of the group housing units. Current freshmen applying for next year's sophomore housing may apply as a group for any THV apartment. Please see the 2010-2011 Housing Rate Sheet for price differences of the different THV units. Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply for any THV or OCH group house.
Please follow the simple housing application instructions below. Before proceeding to the on-line application, all students should download and print the 2010-2011 Housing Contract Packet. Please review this contract thoroughly before accepting the terms and conditions in the Housing Contract. For a quick review of the 2010-2011 housing rates, please see 2010-2011 Housing Rates.
Note: If you plan to live in Xavier-Loyola Hall and wish to rent a loft, please go to www.loftconcepts.com to order your loft. Not all X-L rooms have bunk-able beds. Lofts cannot be rented through the Residence Life office; McGee Hall and Corcoran Hall already have loft-able furniture so those residents do not need to rent lofts. All lofts ordered by July 10th will be set up in advance of the student's arrival on campus.
Housing Assignments will be mailed to students’ permanent addresses by July 1. By completing the housing contract you are committing to live on campus for the full 2010-2011 academic year (unless granted an exemption by the Office of Residence Life.) To cancel your housing contract please submit the Contract Cancellation form by May 7, 2010 to avoid fall housing charges on your student account. Once you submit an application for the new contract year, your housing security deposit is non-refundable and will be lost if the contract is cancelled before the completion of the full academic year [May, 2011].
