At Rockhurst, we believe every student has the potential to become a leader. That's why leadership development is a big part of your educational process here. And we believe leaders are not just CEOs. They are in every walk of life: entrepreneurs, teachers, doctors, therapists. Orientation Leaders
Orientation is a dynamic and energetic four-day program that introduces new students to Rockhurst University.  Through activities and events, new students learn about the mission of Learning, Leadership and Service, as well as become familiar with the faces and services of Rockhurst University.

Resident Assistants
Students gain leadership experience through positions available in Residence Life, including assistant resident director, resident assistant, conference assistant, desk assistant and office assistant.

Social Mentors
The RU Social Crew helps welcome and acquaint freshmen to Rockhurst. Social Mentors help freshmen integrate into campus life by providing on and off campus activities and offering social support.

RU Leaders Program
Want to explore and develop your leadership potential? The RU Leaders program is a comprehensive program for students to discover, develop and use their leadership skills through training and experiential learning.

Student Development and Athletic Annual Leadership Awards

Rockhurst University seeks students who exemplified excellent leadership in various ways over the past academic year through student organizations, service, community outreach and/or commitment to the Rockhurst Mission.

Student organizations and Greek organizations are great opportunities to discover your potential.
