With the expectation that the spread of H1N1 flu virus is likely this fall and winter, Rockhurst University is following advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and making preparations for the possibility that we will have incidents of H1N1 or seasonal flu here. People who live in close proximity to many others – like college students in group living situations – may be at increased risk for H1N1, so it’s important to practice healthy habits and take basic precautions to help stop or slow the spread of illness. Likewise, faculty and staff are asked to be vigilant as well.
