Goppert's Hours of Operation

* Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
* Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
* Every other Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon

During Goppert's hours of operation

Call 816-435-0884. This is the pager number assigned to Rockhurst University students. You will be instructed to enter your phone number with area code where you can be reached followed by the # sign. Allow 15 – 20 minutes for someone from Goppert to call you back to schedule your appointment. It is your responsibility to remain available at the number you enter into the pager. If you do not hear back within 30 minutes of your page, please call the main Goppert number (816-276-7600) and tell them you need an appointment and that you are a Rockhurst student.

After hours

If you need urgent health care assistance outside of Goppert’s normal business hours (posted above), please call 816-276-7600. Identify yourself as a Goppert patient and ask for the resident physician on call. You will receive a call back from the resident physician within one hour.

When the resident physician calls you back, please identify yourself as a Rockhurst University student. Please only use this service for truly urgent illnesses or needs that can not wait until regular business hours – the on-call resident physician will not be able to help you with prescription refills or any non-urgent needs.

If you need immediate emergency treatment outside of Goppert’s normal business hours please go to the closest emergency room - or call Security if you are on-campus (x4911) or 911 if you are off-campus. The Research Hospital - Brookside Campus emergency room is located at 6601 Rockhill Road – it is right next to and affiliated with Goppert and is often the most convenient.

Preparing for your visit

If you have never been to Goppert before please fill out the Patient Registration Form (95K) and the Health History Form available on the Rockhurst web site or stop by Massman 1 to pick one up.

Please arrive for your appointment at Goppert at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
