The Walter J. Ong Society is an exciting and active club for people who enjoy literature, writing, and discussing both. Our goals are to foster intellectual exchange between students in the realm of literature, criticism, and creative writing. Every year the students of the Walter J. Ong Society participate in such events as poetry readings, book clubs, workshops, and the Annual Marathon Reading. We are open to all students who have a love for literature and creative writing in all forms. We are especially interested in freshmen who are still wondering about their majors.
