Cheerleading

The cheerleading squad is a coed organization that cheers for the men's and women's basketball teams at home and select away games. The squad works with the Athletic Department to promote crowd involvement and boost school spirit.

Cheerleaders are expected to maintain a daily fitness routine and practice throughout the year to improve their skill level and to advance the squad’s competitive edge. In addition to practice and performance responsibilities, the squad is involved in fundraising, volunteer activities, annual camps and competitions.

Dance Team

The Rockhurst Rockettes are a coed organization that performs at half time for all women's and men's home basketball games.  In addition to three weekly practices and performance responsibilities, the team is involved in fundraising, volunteer activities, annual camps, and local and national competitions.

The Rockettes are expected to maintain a daily fitness routine and practice throughout the year to improve their skill level and to advance competitive edge.
