Rockhurst's chapter of Amnesty International works in accordance with its international organization for the protection of basic human rights. In particular, the group is concerned with the release of prisoners of conscience and the humane treatment of prisoner. Amnesty International pursues its goals through letter writing and urgent action campaigns. Membership is open to all students.
