Housing Options

All of Rockhurst's housing options are equipped with air conditioning, voicemail, and wireless and wired internet and cable access. 

Other resources available include:

McGee Hall
McGee Hall primarily houses freshman females and offers an exercise room, computer room, TV lounge and chapel.

Corcoran Hall
Corcoran Hall primarily houses freshman males and females and offers a computer room, TV lounge, pool table and chapel.

Xavier-Loyola Hall
Xavier-Loyola Hall is reserved for both male and female upperclassmen students. The building features student activity rooms and adjacent parking.

The Townhouse Village
The Townhouse Village is an apartment-style living community for upperclassmen students who apply in groups during the previous spring. Townhouses are furnished two-story apartments.

Honors Living-Learning Community
The Honors Living-Learning Community gives students in the Rockhurst Honors Program the opportunity to live, study, and learn together outside of the classroom. Within this housing arrangement, honors students are encouraged to use their creativity to build and foster a vibrant community in cooperation with Residential Life staff. Additionally, residents in this unique community are challenged to excel personally and academically through a variety of extracurricular activities and honors-specific programming. The Honors LLC is open to all Rockhurst honors students, and is located in Corcoran and McGee Halls.

On Campus Houses
On Campus Houses (OCH) are located just North and South of the main campus. OCH units offer upperclassmen students with 60 credit hours or more the opportunity to live more independently. Students apply in groups during the previous spring to live in groups of 2 - 5 residents. Houses are furnished with beds and mattresses, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, and a kitchen table and chairs. All houses are provided with security systems.

ADA Spaces Available
Current students may apply for a single unit with a bathroom in McGee Hall, X-L Hall, or a two-person unit in the Townhouse Village. All current students may apply. Students with disabilities will have priority of ADA spaces. All groups who apply will be placed on a waiting list in the event a person or group no longer needs the ADA space. Students are notified during the summer about placement in ADA spaces. Please contact Sandy Waddell, Director for Access Services if you have questions about ADA accommodations.
