You have been admitted, now what?

Checklist to Finalize Your Enrollment at Rockhurst and prepare for Orientation.

  • Submit Deposit. Submit your $200.00 deposit to secure your spot in classes. This deposit goes toward your tuition and can be submitted online or by contacting your admission counselor. Please note, this deposit is non-refundable.
  • Meet with your Academic Advisor and Register. When registering for your first semester of classes at Rockhurst, you must first meet with your academic advisor. Your transfer admission counselor will connect you with the academic advisor from your area of study. Contact your admission counselor to get connected with your academic advisor.
  • Forward updated transcripts. Forward updated transcripts reflecting recently completed coursework to the following address. Rockhurst University, Director of Transfer Admission, 1100 Rockhurst Road, Kansas City, MO 64110.
  • Attend One-Day Transfer Orientation Experience. This one-day experience will prepare you for your first year at RU and provide in-formation that will assist you during your transition. Orientation will present the following information about becoming an RU student before you start your first semester. You will meet your academic advisor, register for classes, receive the summer reading book, purchase your books, finalize any registration needs including paying any bills or picking up your student ID. Various campus offices will present about the resources that they have to offer you during your RU experience. You will also have time to engage in conversation with current students, Orientation Leaders, faculty, and staff. The bonds that you make during this short time will prove to be a valuable connection throughout your Rockhurst experience. This is definitely a tradition that you don’t want to miss.

  • Pay your non refundable tuition deposit.
  • Apply for student housing.
  • Questions about Move-In.
  • Health Insurance & Immunization Requirements.
  • Questions about Financial Aid.
  • Check out tuition and fees.
  • File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Order your books online.
  • Complete the online parking permit
  • Set-Up RU Email Account
  • Academic Advising- Appointment and/or Questions
  • RSVP for Orientation to orientation@rockhurst.edu
