Noon (Mon. - Fri.) - Mabee Chapel
August to May when school is in session

10:10 p.m. (Mon., Wed., Thur.) - Mabee Chapel
August to May when school is in session

4:30 p.m. (every other Tue.) - Mabee Chapel.
Mass is celebrated every other Tuesday during Pasta and Prayer when school is in session.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
12:30 - 10 p.m. last Monday of every month when school is in session — Mabee Chapel
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Thursdays — St. Francis Xavier Parish Chapel

Worship and Prayer Spaces
Mabee Chapel is located on the first floor of Massman Hall.

Saint Francis Xavier Church is the Jesuit parish located directly across the street from Rockhurst University at Troost Avenue and 52nd Street.

Residence Hall prayer rooms are located in Corcoran, Xavier-Loyola and McGee Residence Halls and are open 24 hours a day for private prayer and reflection.

Liturgical Ministry
Students have the opportunity to be Eucharistic ministers, lectors, altar servers, greeters, cantors, instrumentalists, and members of the contemporary ensemble for the student liturgies.  For more information, contact Cindy Schmersal at 816-501-4303.

Mass Hospitality
Mass Hospitality is an opportunity for student groups to provide a valuable service to the Rockhurst Community through assisting as greeters, ushers and gift-bearers and through hosting the post-Mass social. All of these roles may be filled by students of any faith tradition, so all Rockhurst students are welcome and encouraged to participate. This sponsorship opportunity not only serves the Rockhurst community but also allows student groups an opportunity spend time together in a unique and meaningful capacity.   

Student Liturgy Team

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
This process, available through Saint Francis Xavier Parish, prepares the participant for Baptism into the Catholic faith, the profession of the Catholic faith, or the Sacrament of Confirmation. For more information, contact Fr. John Craig, SJ at 816-501-4829.
