RefWorks

In this workshop you will learn how to do the following:

- Create an account
- Navigate around RefWorks
- Get your references into RefWorks [Direct import from an Online Database, Importing Text File, Entering Reference Manually]
- Search online information within RefWorks Database
- Search your RefWorks Database
- Organize your references
- Build your bibliography [Quick Bibliography]
- Add in text citations [Using One Line/Cite View, Using Write N' Cite]

Completion of this training is mandatory in order
to access FirstSearch due to the cost to the library
of using this service. Sessions are limited to

- Search the Web With Success
This 2-hour workshop for Rockhurst students, faculty
and staff explores what is and what is not available
on the WWW; search engines and how they work; search
directories, evaluating web sites for quality. Participants
will receive hands-on training and handouts from the
instructor. Requirements: You should have some
experience using the WWW and either Internet Explorer,
Mozilla or Netscape. Sessions are limited to 15
people.
