RockIT (Rockhurst Information Literacy Tutorial)

RockIT is a tutorial that will help users develop their information literacy skills. This tutorial is part of the Greenlease Library's mission to assist students, faculty and others in developing information literacy competencies, as recommended by the Association of College and Research Libraries in their document Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education.

There are two versions of RockIT available:

1) Students, who are required by faculty to use RockIt as part of a course, should use the version available in WebCT. This version includes quizzes which must be completed and are graded by the instructors. Librarians act as the instructors for RockIT, in collaboration with course faculty.

2) Anyone else who would like to use RockIT may use the "public" version. This version is not accessible through WebCT, so it does not include quizzes. Otherwise it is identical to the full version of RockIT. Librarians do not monitor this version of RockIT.

Rockhurst faculty or students who are not required to complete RockIT, but who wish to use the WebCT version, should contact the librarians about access.
