| Periodical
Holdings The Rockhurst University Library has periodical holdings in
electronic, print, microfiche and microfilm formats. As a reminder, the term "periodical"
means magazine, journal and newspaper publications. Periodical holdings
can be identified by using either the Periodical Holdings List or the Online Catalog.
1. Search the
Periodical Holdings List for the title you need using any of the following
search options: - Find electronic and print periodicals by typing
in the periodical title or Browse periodicals by clicking on the link to
the first letter of the periodical title. If the title you need is available electronically
you can select the "Look for Article" option next to the title to search
for a specific article in the periodical.
- Browse electronic
periodicals by subject by selecting a subject area from the drop down menu.
- Search for keywords in electronic periodicals by
choosing one of the databases from the list and searching for articles on a topic.
2. Search the Online Catalog for the title you need using either
of the following search options: Additional Options: 1.
Search for a periodical in another library. Many libraries
in the area have periodicals not owned by the Greenlease Library. The libraires
listed below will allow walkin patrons to access their print, microfiche and microfilm
periodical collections. Some restrictions may apply with access to periodicals
which are in electronic format. Ask at the Information Desk or call at 501-4188
for assistance in searching the catalogs and contact information of other libraries.
WILO
Catalog: Journal, Magazine and Newspaper Title Search will search for a periodical
title in the collections of these MOBIUS WILO Cluster libraries: Avila University,
Blue River Community College, Longview Community College, Maple Woods Community
College, Kansas City Art Institute, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Penn
Valley Community College, Saint Paul School of Theology, Rockhurst and William
Jewell College. Periodicals can also be searched by International
Standard Serials Number in the WILO Catalog. MOBIUS
Union Catalog: Journal, Magazine and Newspaper Title Search will search for
a periodical title in the collections of the 60 libraries within the MOBIUS consortium.
This catalog includes the periodicals of the University of Missouri-Kansas City
libraries. This search will include the WILO Cluster libraries. Periodicals can
also be searched by International
Standard Serials Number in the MOBIUS Union Catalog.
KU
Medical Libraries: Search this catalog to find periodicals in medicine and

Hall Library of Science, Engineering and Technology: Search this catalog to
find periodicals in science, engineering and technology. Kansas
City Public Library: Search this catalog to fine periodicals in many subject
areas. This catalog can also be used to search the Kansas City Library Consoritum
catalog for other public and academic libraries..
Johnson
County Library: Search this catalog to find periodicals in the Johnson County,
Kansas public library system. Mid-Continent
Public Library. Search this catalog to find periodicals in the Mid-Continent
Public Library System. 2. To search for articles by topic
use an electronic periodical index found in the Subject
List of Library Databases or a print Periodical
Index.
3. Request a specific article from another library using Interlibrary
