Rockhurst Library Locations
This list includes the various locations for periodicals within Rockhurst Library.

Print: Refers to current issues on display, and past issues including loose issues and bound volumes in basement.

Bindery: These print issues are currently located at the library's bindery. They will not be available until the return date found in the Notes section of the record.

Call Numbers: Some periodicals are shelved by a call number. They will usually be found either in the circulating collection on the second floor or in the government documents collection in the basement.

Current: Current issues are located on the main floor, near the center stairwell. They are arranged alphabetically by title. The latest issue will be displayed, with previous issues shelved beneath the shelf when it is tilted.

Index Area: These items are shelved on the Index Area shelves next to the newspapers on the main floor of the library.

Microfiche: Microfiche is 4 x 6" film in a paper envelope. These issues are located in the red cabinets against the north wall of the basement. They are arranged alphabetically by title. Microfiche/film reading machines are located next to the microfiche drawers. Print copies can be made for 10 cents per page.

Microfilm: Microfilm is 35mm rolling film. These issues are located in the cream cabinets against the south wall of the basement. They are arranged alphabetically by title. Microfiche/film reading machines are located next to the microfiche drawers. Print copies can be made for 10 cents per page.

Newspapers: The newspapers are kept next to the current periodicals on the main floor of the library.

Periodicals: Bound and unbound issues are located in the library basement. They are arranged in alphabetical order by title. Loose issues are located with the other periodicals but are stored in plastic containers.
