This collection of nearly 50 journals focused specifically on key issues in gardening, landscaping, and other areas of horticulture. It includes content relating to both the practical aspects as well as the scientific theory of horticulture studies. Health and Wellness Resource Center with Alternative Health Module

This database delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text magazines, journals, and pamphlets from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources. Additionally, consumers, students, and professionals are provided with descriptions of and links to many pertinent websites, selected for their usefulness and appropriateness. This database is intended for consumers without medical backgrounds.

Health Reference Center Academic

This database is intended for the health professional and students in the heatlh sciences. It provides the full text and images of respected nursing, allied health and medical journals; consumer health magazines; newsletters; pamphlets; newspaper articles; topical overviews; and reference books.

Health Source: Consumer Edition

This database includes information on health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. There are full text articles from approximately 130 consumer health journals, as well as abstracts and indexing for articles from approximately 1130 general health, nutrition and professional health care publications. Also included is the USP Pharmacopoeia DI: Volume II Advice for the Lay Patient; the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide , which provides access to up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs; and the Merriam-Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary.

Historical Abstracts

Citations and abstracts to scholarly journal articles covering history 1450 to the present, but excluding the US and Canada. Citations to books and dissertations. Covers approximately 1800 journals in over 50 languages. This database is updated monthly and coverage is from 1965 to the present.

CLIO Notes for Historical Abstracts will guide you through subjects in World History since 1450 (excluding the United States and Canada), by allowing you to browse through chronologies and brief summaries of significant events and themes in modern history. Look for the link to CLIO Notes on the blue menu bar above the search box. On the main screen in CLIO Notes, you will find a list of major time periods and events. Each of these is further divided into subtopics that display informative essays and suggestions for further research. Linked subject terms are also provided, which allow you to search the entire Historical Abstracts database for articles, book citations and dissertations.

Humanities E-Book Project

The American Council of Learned Societies provides this database which is the full-text of both in-print and out-of-print important books in the humanities. Due to copyright restrictions, the full-text cannot be printed or downloaded from the database. Some of the titles are available for purchase directly from the publishers through the database.
