FactSearch

The FactSearch Database is a guide to statistical statements on current social, economic, political, environmental and health issues, derived from some newspapers, periodicals, newsletter and documents such as the Christian Science Monitor, the Congressional Record, Congressional hearings, Daily Press Briefings of the White House, State Department and Department of Defense, and Australian, British and Canadian Parliamentary Debates. Web links to free full text are included frequently. FactSearch is the FirstSearch implementation of the A Matter of Fact database produced by Pierian Press, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

150 full-text magazines and journals in this collection will provide support for research in areas such as drama, music, art history, and filmmaking. The titles in this collection are a subset from the Academic OneFile and General OneFile databases.
