‘How to Cook a Wolf’ Exhibit Opens Oct. 16 in Greenlease Gallery
Jennifer Boe, Kansas City artist and curator, will present new work in a solo exhibition opening Oct. 16 in the Greenlease Gallery. Categorized as allegorical, “How to Cook a Wolf” examines food in a cultural, political and economic context.
Boe’s work, primarily embroidery floss on cotton, is meticulous and time consuming. The medium and content are intertwined.

Boe received her bachelor of fine arts from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2001 with an emphasis in painting and creative writing. Her work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally.
“How to Cook a Wolf” opens with a 7-9 p.m. reception Friday, Oct. 16, and runs through Dec. 12.
