Follow these instructions
to enable your wireless settings to work with
RU wireless.
- The RU wireless network works anywhere
on the Rockhurst University campus.
- These instructions are intended for
computers running Windows XP.
- Computers running Windows 2000 are
supported on the RU Wireless network, however, in order to connect, you
will need to consult your wireless network
card manufacturer's software documentation.
- If you are using a Macintosh
computer, it is again supported, but you
will need to consult your operating system
documentation on getting connected to the "rockhurst" ssid.

Your computer must meet the following requirements:
- An 802.11b compatible wireless network card.
- A valid Rockhurst University network account.
- McAfee VirusScan Enterprise software.
- Smart Enforcer software.

Double-click on the wireless connection icon.

Click Connect to “Connect” to the “Rockhurst” wireless
network.

Click on “Connect Anyway.”

Please wait 30 seconds to 1 minute for your wireless
device to connect to the “Rockhurst” wireless network.

You are now connected to the “Rockhurst” wireless
network.

Right-click on the “e” in the taskbar and select “Login.”
 |

• Enter your Rockhurst username and password.
• Select “Student” or “Faculty & Staff” from
the provider box.
• Click on “Login” to continue.
Note: If you do not already have smart enforcer installed, open a web browser and login with your rockhurst account to download and install it.
