Julie was one of the Hawks' top players as a sophomore last season, averaging 10.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Julie enjoyed a
standout high school career as both All-City and All-State
player in both volleyball and basketball. Wichita's Lynette Woodard
Female Athlete of the Year in 2005, Julie was a "Biddy
Baskeball" All-American post before moving to the
perimeter in the past several seasons. Julie's mother,
Jenny, played basketball for Wichita State in the early
1980s.
