Women's Soccer: Hawks end season in first round of GLVC tourney

The Rockhurst Hawks ended their season with a 4-0 loss to 10th-ranked Northern Kentucky in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Sunday in Wilder, Ky.

Rockhurst allowed two goals in the first 19 minutes. The Norse added their third goal late in the first half and their fourth goal early in the second half.

The Hawks, 7-10-1, were limited to four shots and two shots on goal. Northern Kentucky, 16-2-0, finished with 15 shots and six shots on goal.

Freshman Colleen Shannon led Rockhurst with two shots. Senior Alyssa Miller made two saves in her final game for the Hawks.
