Men's Soccer: White named to Daktronics Midwest Region Team

Junior defender Patrick White was named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II Midwest Region Second Team.

The team is voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), with voting powered by ATHLETICSITE.COM.

White finished with nine points while scoring four goals. He transferred to Rockhurst from Furman University with teammate Curt McDonald.

Heraclio Perez was the lone player from Rockhurst to receive Men's Soccer All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors. The senior midfielder from Sedalia, Mo., was named to the All-GLVC Third Team.

Perez was the team's top midfielder in 2009. He finished with two assists and seven shots while starting 12 games. He played in 49 games (20 starts) in his career at Rockhurst and scored four points.

Senior midfielder Walker Moskop was named to the ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District First Team. He scored nine points on four goals and one assist. He is now on the ballot for the Academic All-America Team.

Rockhurst finished the season with an 8-10 record and 6-8 mark in the conference.
