Men's Soccer: Heinemann selected to NSCAA All-America Team
Rockhurst's Tom Heinemann has been selected to the 2007 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas NCAA Division II All-America Team.
Heinemann, who led the Hawks with six game-winning goals, earned second team All-America honors from the NSCAA. He was one of eight players from the GLVC to receive first, second or third team NSCAA All-America honors. He finished third in the Great Lakes Valley Conference in goals (15) and points (36).
The sophomore forward from St. Louis was also chosen to the NSCAA/adidas All-Great Lakes Region first team. He earlier was named to the All-GLVC first team and the Daktronics Great Lakes All-Region first team.
Senior midfielder Adam Johnson and sophomore forward Haggai Leboo received NSCAA All-Region second team honors. Johnson led the team with 10 assists while finishing with 12 points. He was also named the All-GLVC second team and the Daktronics All-Region second team. Leboo scored 28 points on 12 goals and four assists while being chosen to the All-GLVC second team.
