| Men's Golf: Hawks finish second at Quincy Fall Classic
The Rockhurst Hawks opened the 2006-07 season by finishing in second place at the Quincy University Fall Invitational Monday, Sept. 11, at the Westview Golf Course in Quincy, Ill.
Truman State passed the Hawks on the second day of the tournament to win by 13 shots, 572-585. Rockhurst led Truman by five shots after Sunday's first round, 284-289.
The Hawks were led by sophomore Ryan Roepke, who tied for second with a 144 score. He posted the top score in the first round with a 68 and shot a 76 in the second round.
The Hawks next play in the William Jewell Fall Invitational on Monday, Sept. 18, at Claycrest Golf Course in Liberty, Mo.
