PRM develops, implements and monitors the annual advertising plan, consulting with recruitment directors in all undergraduate and graduate programs.

Media Relations
PRM works to identify Rockhurst achievements and strengths, then target relevant print and broadcast media. We also respond to media requests and work to provide Rockhurst experts wherever suitable. Any member of the Rockhurst community with an idea for a story that might interest the media is invited to contact Katherine Frohoff, director of public relations, at 816-501-4151.

Community Relations
Alicia Douglas, director of community relations and outreach, aims to develop positive relationships between the University and its neighbors, as well as elected officials. The director also manages the Community Center, located at the main entrance of campus. Contact 816-501-4306 with questions or community outreach needs.

In order to maintain brand consistency, all external publications are developed in-house or approved by PRM. Our writers can craft content or make edits to content you provide. A creative director will design your piece and find a suitable printer for the project.

PRM also publishes Rockhurst magazine twice per year, with a target audience of alumni, donors and friends of the University. This magazine showcases how Rockhurst is continuing to fulfill its its mission.

The University does not have an in-house photographer. Professional photographers are hired for major campus events.
