Rockhurst introduces new Physics of Medicine minor
Rockhurst’s offerings for students interested in the healthcare field are richer and more robust than ever with the addition of a new minor in physics of medicine. The physics of medicine curriculum is being taught by physics and math faculty members and incorporates both classroom and practical learning. The curriculum is designed to prepare healthcare students for graduate studies in medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, communication sciences and disorders, pharmacy and research positions. The goal of this minor is to enhance students’ understanding of physics principles and how they are applied within the medical and allied health fields.
