More than 115 Kauffman Scholars in grades seven through 10 recently visited Rockhurst University to learn more about college life. One of the useful facts they picked up from Rockhurst senior Doyle Witt is that college tour guides always walk backwards. Kauffman Scholars is a college access program for Kansas City’s urban youth. In addition to taking tours of campus, the students interacted with Rockhurst students and faculty, and enjoyed a game of Rockhurst bingo.
