Rockhurst Gala “Toasts” Kansas City

“Toast of Kansas City,” the 14th annual Rockhurst University gala, will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in the Rockhurst University Convocation Center, at the corner of Rockhurst Road and Tracy Avenue.

More relaxed than in years past, “Toast of Kansas City” will promote Rockhurst as a wonderful asset to the greater community. The changed format of the gala will give people a better opportunity to mix and mingle with guests and sponsors from throughout the city. “We’re working hard to make this a fun and exciting evening for guests and help them better understand who their dollars support,” said Tori Snowden, Rockhurst events coordinator.

Proceeds from the Rockhurst gala help fund service trips, scholarships and library and technology enhancements. The gala will feature a showcase of student talent throughout the evening, as well as DJ David Basse, who will provide additional entertainment.
