SuperNatural Christians Retreat — May 2005
Nickie's Diary

| "My family's version of camping is to rent a cabin with air condition-ing, so let's just say I will need help!" |
Hi! My name is Nickie.
I have grown up in cities my whole life and have never been backpacking, so I am both scared and excited for the Supernatural Christians Retreat!
 |
About the Trip |
The SuperNatural Christians Retreat is a six-day backpacking adventure in Upper Michigan's Sylvania Wilderness Tract that invites Rockhurst students to explore their relationship with the earth in light of their Christian faith. |
I have wanted to go backpacking for a long time now, even though it will require carrying a heavy backpack, dragging a canoe around, and going without a shower for four days… I decided to go on this retreat because it is the perfect opportunity for my first backpacking experience! I hope that there are other people just as inexperienced as myself. I just finished my semester exams so I am ready for a new challenge. I can't wait!
