We hope you find our new look easy to navigate and reflective of the Rockhurst University mission.
This redesign is an integral component of Rockhurst’s overall rebrand, which will be introduced throughout the year. It delivers a more intuitive, user-friendly experience, complete with fresh graphics, an enhanced news and events component, and multiple entry points for information.
The site showcases the new Rockhurst University logo with the tagline “Where leaders learn.” This statement reflects Rockhurst’s position as a top choice for those who go on to become leaders in many aspects of their lives and careers.
While the new look is the most noticeable change, the site boasts a number of behind-the-scenes updates.
“It is a huge step forward for the University in many ways,” said Dave von Fintel, web development director. “The redesign meets the latest standards for accessibility and is optimized to the latest search engine optimization standards, increasing Rockhurst’s natural query results. The entire site was rebuilt on a robust content management system, which will allow for more consistent updating and less resources focused on page creation and maintenance.”
In addition to the revamped site, Rockhurst also has rolled out a new mobile application in partnership with AT&T. It offers features useful for current students and alumni. Currently, it’s available in app store on iTunes and the Android marketplace, with a Blackberry version coming soon.
