2015 Honorees: Jim, ’73, and Karen Castellano
Each year, Rockhurst honors someone who has made outstanding contributions to the St. Louis and RU communities with the University's prestigious Magis Award. This year’s honorees are Jim, ’73, and Karen Castellano who will receive the award during the Magis Award Dinner.
6 p.m., Saturday, August 22

The Castellano's will be recognized for their leadership as pillars of the St. Louis community. Together, they have exemplified service and generosity through sponsored scholarships, fundraising events for various organizations, board memberships and much more.
Karen received the Fontbonne University Founders Award for Distinguished Service in Higher Education in 2010, and is a Friend of the Board of Trustees of the St. Louis Art Museum.
Jim is chairman of the board of RubinBrown LLP, chairman of Baker Tilly International, and was recently named one of Ingram's magazine's 50 Missourians You Should Know list. He is also the former chairman of Rockhurst University's board of trustees.
