Economic Advisory Board for Kansas City Area
The Helzberg School of Management, in conjunction with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Area Regional Council, created an Economic Advisory Board for the area. Representatives from the Helzberg School of Management work with other board members to form an official Kansas City Economic forecast, which is delivered annually with quarterly updates. The purpose of the forecast is to help area industries and not-for-profit organizations plan for and absorb the impact of fluctuating business climates and economic conditions. Forecasts are presented each September on the Rockhurst University campus. For more information, contact Michael Stellern, Ph.D., at (816) 501-4153 or michael.stellern@rockhurst.edu.

Labor-Management Council
The Labor-Management Council (LMC) of Greater Kansas City is a nonprofit membership organization founded in 1979, based at Rockhurst University and associated with the Helzberg School of Management. Its mission is to enhance the community's quality of life in and out of the workplace. The LMC is the only forum bringing labor and management together to discover and act on issues of mutual interest. Among its programs is the Mid-Level Leadership Training Program, co-sponsored by Rockhurst. For more information please contact Bob Jacobi, Ph.D., at (816) 501-4565 or bob.jacobi@rockhurst.edu.
