Lead the Way to Change
You manage projects, units, departments or firms. And to do it effectively, you must be able to initiate change. The Helzberg School's Executive MBA program delivers a specialized curriculum to help you become a change agent who can strategically plan and successfully implement solutions.
To do this, the program focuses on three major outcomes: acumen, executive presence, and executive decision making. The Executive MBA curriculum fully integrates professional development to let you practice key leadership skills as a part of your course work. In other words, we don't just teach leadership, we help you learn how to lead the change required to improve your results. See the Executive MBA at a glance.

Meet Your New Business Network
Not only will you leave the Helzberg School of Management with a prestigious Executive MBA, you'll also develop a network of classmates from many of Kansas City's biggest and fastest growing businesses. It's one more tool you'll have in your pocket to bring back to your business.
The Executive MBA program develops excellent managers and leaders who have the knowledge and skills to lead change. The program employs four primary methods for student learning and development:
Faculty and Peer Led Discussion
Faculty leverage the class time to involve students to share and apply their experience. In this way, learning is not just one-way but allows the collective experience of the cohort to aid in learning.
One important method of application is to apply the tools (e.g., marketing, finance, supply chain) to real projects specific to the student's job. Many of these projects actually get implemented.
General management is non-functional and students in the Executive MBA get a chance to practice general management through business simulations designed for managers.
Coaching and Networking
Every student is assigned to an executive coach who helps students direct their own learning to their individualized development needs.
Join the Top Five Percent
Employers take notice of applicants from AACSB-accredited programs. To earn this prestigious accreditation, Rockhurst met rigorous, relevant and carefully reviewed standards. With fewer than five percent of the world's 13,000 business programs earning AASCB accreditation, graduating from an accredited program is a powerful differentiator around the globe. In fact, Rockhurst's Helzberg School of Management is the region's only private, AACSB accredited school. Learn more about the importance of AACSB accreditation.
