Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

A BSBA graduate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate skills in personal responsibility, an awareness of self and others, the ability to work effectively in groups, and the ability to foster positive team dynamics.
  • Recognize and analyze ethical and social responsibility issues to propose and defend an appropriate course of action.
  • Define, describe and demonstrate foundational business skills and knowledge.
  • Integrate relevant cultural, political, historical, geographic, and environmental factors into the analysis of business issues, as well as the development and selection of an appropriate course of action.
  • Identify, access and analyze relevant quantitative and qualitative information to develop, select and evaluate an appropriate course of action.
  • Produce and deliver effective written and oral communications using appropriate technologies.

Master of Business Administration

A Helzberg MBA graduate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate personal responsibility and awareness of self and others, build effective teams, influence and enable others to develop to their full potential to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze ethical and corporate social responsibility issues in context, and implement appropriate actions.
  • Integrate and apply skills and knowledge across business disciplines to effectively manage in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrate and apply global – cultural, political, historical, geographic, environmental and economic – perspectives to decision making within a complex and changing world.

Master of Business Administration
in Health Care Leadership

A Helzberg MBA graduate, specializing in health care leadership, will be able to:

  • Demonstrate personal responsibility and awareness of self and others, build effective teams, influence and enable others to improve patient care and policy in a health care setting.
  • Analyze ethical and corporate social responsibility issues in context and implement appropriate actions, as well as relate concepts of access, quality and value to the health care environment.
  • Integrate and apply skills and knowledge across business disciples to effectively manage in dynamic health care environments.
  • Demonstrate and apply global – cultural, political, historical, geographic, environmental and economic – perspectives to health care decision making within a complex and changing world.
  • Identify, access, analyze and synthesize relevant health care information that optimizes effective decision making.
  • Communicate appropriately with internal and external stakeholders, and create an environment where effective communication can occur.

Executive MBA

A Helzberg Executive MBA graduate will be able to:

  • Exhibit skills in leading change, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in groups of diverse stakeholders with multiple interests while fostering positive team dynamics to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Develop a personal worldview guided by ethical theories, analyze and evaluate corporate social responsibility in terms of the firm’s stakeholders and industry standards for sustainability.
  • Demonstrate business acumen through application of functional skills and knowledge in strategic management contexts.

Master of Arts in Management

A Helzberg MA graduate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate personal leadership styles to motivate teams effectively, build alliances, and enhance skills in influencing key audiences of the organization.
  • Analyze ethical and corporate social responsibility issues, and effectively apply important concepts, principles and theories used in authentic management situations when developing complex solutions to multifaceted problems.
  • Within teams, apply business and management concepts through projects in partnership that help create organizational solutions.
  • Identify differences when managing across international cultures.
  • Direct organizational change by using data obtained from organizational initiatives gathering, interpreting, analyzing and disseminating data.
  • Demonstrate effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication, and create an environment where dialogue can occur.
