Rockhurst alumni golf classic expands with an exciting addition. The Father Joseph M. Freeman, S.J. Golf Classic in Kansas City will be joined by the Father Robert F. Weiss, S.J. Golf Classic in the St. Louis area.

On behalf of the 275 Rockhurst University student athletes and their coaches, please accept our gratitude for supporting the seventh annual Fr. Joseph M. Freeman, S.J., Golf Classic.  The Freeman Classic pays tribute to a beloved Jesuit priest whose ministry at Rockhurst was 42 years in duration.  Fr. Freeman was a philosophy and theology professor, a highly respected mentor to scores of Rockhurst students who remember him fondly for the impact he made on their lives.  He was also an avid sportsman, therefore it is fitting that we honor him in this way.

More than $40,000 was raised through the Golf Classic which goes directly to the Athletic Department and will be used to enhance the program and upgrade facilities.  Thank you for your support of the 2009 Golf Classic.  May God bless you for your generosity and your involvement!
