RAKERS

(Random Acts of Kindness Sharers)

RAKERS are dedicated to doing projects that benefit others. These projects are targeted to Rockhurst University students, faculty, and staff, as well as the Kansas City community. The goal of RAKERS is to observe those individuals and groups on campus who deserve recognition, encouragement, or congratulations and just simply say 'thank you' or 'we support you' in a creative way. Although most projects are not considered service projects, they do carry on the Jesuit tradition of "men and women for others." Students are able to use their creative talents and ideas as RAKERS delivers their acts of kindness in unique ways. RAKERS meet once every two weeks, and membership is open to any student interested.

Do all the good you can.
By all the means you can.
In all the ways you can.
In all the places you can.
At all the times you can.
To all the people you can.
As long as ever you can.
