Transitioning from another college to Rockhurst can be challenging. There are new procedures and processes. The campus is unfamiliar and you may begin to worry that you will not make the right connections with other students and faculty. This office can assist and help problem solve with anything that might be interfering with your success, such as academic problems, personal concerns, family situations, time management, etc. When necessary, an appropriate referral is made to another on-campus resource.

Offers individual spiritual counseling, retreat opportunities and other group activities focused on getting students involved and comfortable at Rockhurst. Information related to religious services offered in the KC area is available.

Assists students in selecting a major and finding work study jobs, off campus part-time jobs and internships.

Individual counseling sessions are available free of charge to all fulltime students. Concerns ranging from anxiety, relationship problems or depression are common reasons students seek counseling.

Assists with academic concerns and offers tutoring in any subject.
