Stellern, a 26-year veteran at Rockhurst University, is an associate professor of economics. His primary teaching focuses are the principles of macroeconomics and microeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, international economics and economic strategy.
A graduate of Rockhurst University, Michael earned his bachelor's degree in economics in 1970. He received his master's in economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Arizona.
Michael has served as president of the Missouri Valley Economics Association, chaired the Economic Advisory Board of Kansas City, which prepared the forecasts for the Kansas City economy, and chaired the Faculty Senate at Rockhurst University. He is published in forecasting and international arenas and has written several case studies.
