Overview: David teaches two courses in the Nonprofit Leadership Program at the Helzberg School of Management: Foundations of Fundraising and Prospect Research and Proposal Writing. He has nearly 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising. He is the Director of Program and Development at Sheffield Place, a treatment and supportive housing agency for homeless mothers and their children in Northeast Kansas City, MO.
Awards: During David’s tenure, Sheffield Place received the “Excellence in Fundraising Award” from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Mid America Chapter in 2015 and two Philly Awards from NP Connect – one for the agency video and the other for the website.
