Attire & Accessories
The Herff Jones Company will be taking orders for
graduation attire, announcements and Rockhurst University class rings.
The official Academic Regalia Code, as identified by NAACO and CASE, consists of gown, hood, mortarboard and tassel of description and color designated by degree and major to be conferred at commencement.
During the commencement ceremony, graduates may wear cords, stoles, medals and pins that indicate academic honors. These embellishments acknowledge students who have completed university honors curricula, or membership in elite nationally/internationally recognized honor societies whose primary purpose is academic preparation or academic recognition.
Students are welcome to wear cords and stoles with symbols of social, fraternal or religious organizations during Friday’s Baccalaureate Mass and reception and other events/activities prior to and following the commencement ceremony (Hawk Walk).
