The relationship you have with Career Services is critical in helping you attract quality candidates for your organization. We offer a variety of resources to assist you with this process. In addition, please review the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Practice regarding best practices and professional guidelines for campus recruiting.
Employers seeking full-time and internship candidates are invited to visit the Rockhurst University campus to conduct interviews in our facility. You may choose between two types of interview schedules – open or pre-select. Open schedules allow all qualifying candidates to select an interview time without going through a pre-screening process. Pre-select schedules allow the employer to prescreen the resumes of interested, qualifying candidates in order to invite specific students to interview. To schedule a campus interview date, please contact Mike Theobald, director of career services, at 816-501-4861.
RU Career Account
Career Services now employs NACE Link by Symplicity as our office management system. By establishing your account with Career Services, you can directly post your positions for viewing by Rockhurst University students and alumni. In addition, you can view resumes through the online resume books. To establish your employer RU Career Account, return to the main Career Services page and click on Employer Partners in the yellow RU Career Account box at the bottom of the page.
Exposure on Campus
Career Services can work with you to help develop a higher profile for your organization on the Rockhurst University campus. We can set a table for you in high traffic areas on campus. Recommended hours are between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Employers are limited to two (2) visits per semester. Also, we can link you with campus student leaders and organizations. Make a presentation on a career-related topic to a student club or organization, and wrap up with information on your organization. Contact Mike Theobald at 816-501-4861 for more information.
