Rockhurst Theatre: "Tartuffe"

Rockhurst Theatre Director Susan Proctor will direct Molière’s 1664 play, “Tartuffe” about a wealthy Parisian patriarch who falls under the influences of Tartuffe, a self-righteous hypocrite. King Louis XIV eventually suppressed the play because it depicted a member of the upper class as a fool and cast the title character as a scheming holy man without character.
Tickets are $8 at the door.
