Fall Film Series: "Mean Streets"Mabee Theater, Sedgwick Hall

In recognition of the University’s Ignatian Heritage Week, September 9-13, the Rockhurst Film Series will present three films that artistically express many of the themes that will be part of the celebration. A Rockhurst faculty member will introduce each film and lead a post-screening discussion. Admission is $3 per film or $7 for the series.
The second film in the series is Mean Streets. It tells the story of Charlie, a smalltime hoodlum who feels guilty about his business dealings, and attempts to save himself by rescuing his erratic, trouble-prone friend, Johnny Boy. With Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel; directed by Martin Scorsese. Introduction by Glenn Young, Ph.D., assistant professor of Theology and Religious Studies.
