The Regents as Mentors program puts students and recent graduates in contact with Rockhurst University Regents by:

• helping students making contacts in the business community and providing guidance in presenting themselves for interviews
  
• discussing life after graduation and new responsibilities
  
• talking with students who are going overseas regarding contacts, customs and expectations of different countries.

The process is simple.

• Students seeking a mentor schedule an appointment with Career Services. At this meeting, students explain their career preferences and discuss their expectations of the program.
  
• After the initial meeting, students will be provided with a mentor's name and contact information. The student will contact the mentor to schedule the initial appointment. As a professional courtesy, students dress professionally when visiting a mentor at work.
  
• At the meeting, students will have the opportunity to observe what the mentor does on a daily basis and the chance to discuss their particular questions and concerns.
  
• Following the meeting with the mentor, the students schedule another appointment with Career Services in order to review their experience of the visit and give feedback on the program.
