How to Apply
You're considered a transfer student if you have completed at least 12 credit hours at another college or university. To be considered for admission at Rockhurst, you should submit the following:
Apply online for free, or you may download and print* an application (533K PDF). You may also use the online Universal College Application. Rockhurst is now among many colleges and universities accepting the the Universal College Application. Our goal is to make the online college application process more comprehensive for students.
Up-to-date transcripts** of credits from each college or university you've attended; high school transcripts are required if you've completed fewer than 24 hours of college coursework.
When to Apply
Rockhurst University operates on a rolling admission basis, reviewing applications as they are submitted. Transfer students may apply any time throughout the year. However, in order to take advantage of all financial aid opportunities, it is preferable to apply at least 60 days prior to the start of the semester.
Transferring Credit
Generally, coursework transferred from regionally accredited colleges or universities with a C or better may be used to satisfy Rockhurst degree requirements. Refer to the Registrar's Office for more information about transferring credit.
Request Your Transcripts
Send us your up-to-date transcripts of credits from each college or university you have attended. High school transcripts are required if you have completed fewer than 24 hours of college coursework.
Make it official! Transcripts must be official, in a sealed envelope. Faxed transcripts are not considered official documents. An online transcript request process is often available. Check your school's Web site.
Request Your ACT or SAT Scores
If your test scores do not appear on your official high school transcript, please send us your official test scores. To request ACT scores, call (319) 337-1309. To request SAT scores, call (609) 771-7600.
