Financial Aid
Need-based aid includes state and federal grants and loans. Eligibility for such aid is determined by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be obtained from the Rockhurst Financial Aid Office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Rockhurst FAFSA school code is 002499. Applications for additional aid and health benefits are available on the forms page.

The Financial Aid Office can help you with everything you need to know about student loans, from understanding your options to applying online.

Eligibility for Federal Student Aid:

  • Complete FAFSA and return to the Financial Aid Office.
  • Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours per semester).
  • Students must be degree- or certificate-seeking.
  • Financial aid transcripts are required if enrolling in spring semester.
  • Students may receive aid if enrolled in only one 8-week session as long as they are enrolled at least half-time. Aid will be awarded on a pro-rata status.
  • Awarding will be in accordance with current financial aid policies.
  • Institutional financial aid is not available for evening students.
