Applicants to the
Rockhurst MBA must hold a bachelor's degree in
any field from an accredited college or university
and completed the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission
Test). International applicants have additional requirements.
Students must meet the prerequisite course requirements
with a C or better. An undergraduate degree in business
usually satisfies most of the prerequisites. Rockhurst
University offers prerequisite courses in tandem with
MBA core courses.
Students entering the MBA Program are expected to demonstrate proficiency
in written and oral communication skills as well as basic word processing,
presentation (e.g. PowerPoint) and spreadsheet knowledge. Proficiency
requirements can be met through a combination of prior undergraduate
work and evidence of achievement based on work experience. Prerequisite Courses:

Applicants may be admitted in various categories:
Fully Admitted: Students in this category have
submitted all documentation necessary for admission and met the
required academic criteria. Non-Degree Seeking: Students in this category
generally are taking courses for personal or professional development.
They must meet the same academic requirements as a conditionally
accepted student. If the student wants to become a degree-seeking
candidate, he/she must meet the requirements of fully admitted
