Educational Mission
The Rockhurst University Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) Program is committed to preparing leaders in the profession of CSD and in their careers and communities.

As one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the country, Rockhurst’s educational mission is centered on three tenets: learning, leadership and service in the Jesuit tradition. All three guideposts provide the basis for a rigorous academic curriculum designed to educate the whole person – both in and out of the classroom.

One of the hallmarks of the Rockhurst program is the close faculty-student interaction and mentoring relationships. Collaborative research and clinical service projects enable faculty, students and other members of the Rockhurst community to team with community agencies, fulfilling the institution’s mission of providing leadership in service to others.
