Occupational Therapy Orientation

Orientation for MOT students entering this summer is July 8, 2013. On orientation day we integrate you into the Rockhurst University system. You will receive your student number and ID badge plus gain access to Blackboard and your Rockhurst email account. Your laptop will be adjusted so you can hook up to the campus network. You will have brief introductions to some key members of our campus and it is a time to visit with your fellow classmates and faculty. A detailed orientation schedule will be mailed in June.

Important Dates

  • Welcome New Students BBQ: July 7, 2013
    Student Activity Center, 6 – 8 p.m.
    Meet the current OT students, faculty, and staff
    OT shirts, mugs, and goniometers available for purchase
  • Mandatory Orientation: July 8, 2013
  • First day of summer classes: July 9, 2013
  • Final day of summer classes: Aug. 9, 2013
  • First day of fall classes: Aug. 21, 2013

Note: Since orientation is Monday, July 8, your classes scheduled for Monday will be held on Friday, July 12, for the first week only.

Summer Courses
We will make sure you are enrolled in your summer courses. You will receive a copy of your schedule before classes begin in July. In general, you can count on being on campus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday except for the first week when you will be here Monday – Friday.
