Nonprofit Leadership Internships

Your capstone experience will be a 300-hour internship at a local nonprofit organization. This is a short-term work experience emphasizing hands-on learning that gives meaning to everything learned in the classroom. The underlying principle of an internship is “shared value.” The internship provides you with learning and the partnering organization with valued work performance.

Reflective journals and a final paper and presentation provide you opportunities to connect your experiential learning as an intern with your own development as a leader and your achievement of professional development competencies.
