Undergraduate Education Application Process
Apply to Rockhurst University's undergraduate education program in three easy steps:
- Submit a completed bachelor application (PDF) with the written essay. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required to enter this program.
- Successfully pass all sections of the MoGEA, a Missouri mandated and administered examination of basic knowledge. You must pass all sections before registering for any education courses, and complete ED1320 and PY1000 with a grade of C or higher before applying.
- Once accepted, meet with your adviser to discuss the Missouri Department of Education's requirements for individuals pursuing teaching careers. In accordance with these requirements, undergraduate education students must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 as well as a 3.0 GPA in all education and content courses upon graduation.
Students pursuing a major in education need to apply and be accepted to both Rockhurst University and the Department of Education. A meeting with the Department of Education adviser is required before enrolling in any education course.
